Photos: Winter Whitetail

Crossed paths with this buck while hunting with my son last winter in Atascosa County. Beautiful deer at close range in the morning fog. We opted to watch him and take pictures.

He was as curious about us as we were him. He slipped off the sendero and into the brush where he hid his body and stared through the limbs for a few exhilerating moments.
